So I have just over 18 weeks to go now! It still seems like a long time. Everyone is telling me how fast it is going and I am like, “no its really not gone that fast to me!” I am getting bigger by the day it seems. I like seeing my big belly, though, because it reminds me that my baby is in there. I am sure I won’t like it as much when I am in my last months. Here is the latest pic of me taken at 20 weeks.
I have also been feeling her every day now! When I was first feeling her around week 18 and 19 I was just feeling her kick on my right side. Since the beginning of this week I have only been feeling her down low below my belly button. They feel so different from each other. Below my belly button it feel like a bubble popping inside me and when she was kicking on my right side it felt more like a kick. Steven has not been able to feel her yet. He has tried a few times, but I don’t think it is strong enough for him to feel yet. She moves the most when I go to bed around 11 or so. Steven is really wanting to feel her move and I really hope he can soon.
So it seems like my cravings and tastes for certain foods are changing yet again. I have actually eaten sweet dessert things a couple times in the past two weeks. I don’t want things like that a lot, but every now I do. We went to TGI Fridays last weekend and I have had ribs, fries, and a hot brownie with chocolate sauce and caramel sauce on it. It was sooooooo good. I keep on telling Steven that food tastes better when you are pregnant. I love eating out. My favorite thing to eat are steak and potatoes. I have also been craving watermelon lately. Vegetable soup is still good too. Before I was pregnant I would drink half and half tea or sweet tea. I only drink unsweet tea now and I think that is what I have been craving the most. I try to limit myself to one or two cups a day because of the caffeine, but it is hard to do.
I have been feeling much better this trimester than I was the first. I am not nauseated anymore and my appetite has gone up. I still haven’t gained a lot of weight, though. I think I have gained about 4-5 pounds so far. I feel like it should be more though. Since about the 10th week I have been peeing like crazy! I pee about 9-14 times a day and that is not an exaggeration. Night time is the worst because I have to get up at least 2 if not 4 times a night to pee. My allergies are worse now and I sneeze and blow my nose quite a bit. I also get the hiccups more often now, but usually it is just one or two at a time. There are a few more symptoms that have come with the second trimester, but they are not for sharing in mixed company.
I am so excited for this weekend. We are going to PA to visit Steven’s family and they are throwing me my very first baby shower! We haven’t seen them since Christmas and we have been missing all of them. I can’t wait for them to see my baby belly! A couple of weeks ago, after we found out we were having a girl, Steven and I went and registered at Babies R Us and Target. It was so much fun. I have also found the baby crib sheets, bumper, blanket, etc… from Pottery Barn Kids. We don’t have a Pottery Barn here, so I registered online. It is a Peter Rabbit theme that we are going to use. I am also going to use lavender and lilac colors in the room. A couple of days ago I was looking on Wal-Mart.com and I found that they had better prices on some of my stuff than Target and Babies R Us did, so I decided to register there too. I find myself spending lots of time (probably too much time) looking at my registries and adding to them. I worry that I am adding too much, but I just can’t help myself. I like pink, but I am wanting to do more purples than pinks. So, anyway below are the places we are registered at. You just get on the website and put in my name under registry. Steven’s name is on all of the registries as well. The Pottery Barn stuff and a few other things are on MyRegistry.com.

Thanks everyone for all of the love and support I and my baby have been getting. We love you all!
