So, this is Rachel and not Steven. This is the first time I have posted on this. I kept on telling myself I was going to, but now I actually am. I am going to try to keep up with this so all my long lost, long distance friends and family can see what is going on with us. We have been in our new place a month now. We like it. Still have a couple boxes to unpack and still working on making it our own. If anyone hasn't heard, Steven got a new job!!! I am so amazed at God and his provision in our lives. It is a temporary job for about 3-4 months doing CAD at an engineering company. There is a chance he can get a permanent job after the temporary job is done. We are really praying that he gets it. It would be perfect for him. The crazy thing is this job pays more than his old job and has better insurance. We are going to have dental and vision, which we have never had. I am excited about that because I need a filling and we both need new glasses. So God has showed us we need more to have more faith. I had faith that God would bring Steven a job, but I kept on telling Steven he was going to have to take a job way below what he getting paid before. I never imagined he would find a job that paid more than his other one. God is so good!!!
So, I guess I had more to say than I thought. That is all for now, but I will post more soon. The lesson from this post: GOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
God is good! I am continuously in awe of how God answers prayers. You'd think by now we would have it down! :) But, no, we continually doubt His promise to provide for our needs according to His will, and yet he remains faithful. Even through our doubt. I am so happy that Steve got a job! I'll continue praying that it becomes permanent! Miss you guys!
